Wanted: Dead, a new game from developers Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden, was announced at Tokyo Game Show.
110 Industries and Soleil, a development studio made up of Team Ninja veterans who worked on the aforementioned franchises, introduced Wanted: Dead which is described as a frenetic action game with a third-person view in a Hong Kong sci-fi version. This will allow players to control the combat with weapons and in hand-to-hand combat.
The game’s creators say they have been inspired by titles like Bayonetta and Devil May Cry, and say it will also include an “in-depth investigative aspect where players must analyze evidence and dive into the real work of the police.” You can watch the trailer below where you can see the effects of the titles mentioned, as well as of course Ninja Gaiden:
So by controlling Lieutenant Hannah Stone who heads a Zombie Squad that operates outside the normal range of the police, players will be able to engage enemies with different types of attacks, including a limb-slashing mechanic that alters attack patterns. Attack enemies.
Developers include producer Yoshiforo Okamoto, director Hiroaki Matsui, and master planner Natsuki Tsurugai who have worked on titles such as Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden II, DOA, DOA2, and Xtreme Beach Volleyball.
Wanted: Dead will arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X versions | S and PC, and it doesn’t have an exact release date yet as it has only been indicated that it will be available in 2022.
