Funeral services for Madeleine Albright were held Wednesday, April 27, at Washington National Cathedral. Among those in attendance were many including current US President Joe Biden, former Presidents Barack Obama with his wife or Bill Clinton with his wife, and US senators and politicians.

Madeleine Albright played a key role in the NATO expansion for Poland. On March 12, 1999, he received admission documents from the Foreign Ministers of the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.
