movie viewers in New horizons for cinema In the Polish city of Wroclaw, you can now pay for tickets with the eyes using a biometric payment system that uses iris recognition technology.

“The whole system is very simple. All you have to do is download the PayEye app on your mobile phone, register and recharge your free Express account,” explains Cinema.

“When you first visit the Nowe Horyzonty cinema, a code is generated based on the biometric model, which is used for secure payments using a special payment terminal.

“From now on, you can pay by eye – easily, securely and without restrictions. Account use and transactions made with iris are free.”

Nowe Horyzonty is testing an iris recognition system developed by a Polish technology provider PayEye It is the first cinema to join the pilot project in about 150 locations in and around Wroclaw, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, supermarkets, swimming pools and beauty salons.

– This is not a script for the next part of “The Matrix” – this plot is very real and accessible – adds Daniel Ratoszniak, President of Nowe Horyzonty Cinema.

“By offering eye pay, we are not only bringing together safety, but also modernity and convenience for movie lovers.

“We are open not only to innovative phenomena in cinema, but also to new technologies, which is why we have joined the pilot project with PayEye.”
