We are all waiting for the premiere of the Intel Arc graphics cards of the Alchemist series, which will face the Nvidia and AMD models. However, the manufacturer does not intend to stop there and is working on future generations – new cards may appear sooner than we think.
Designed with gamers in mind, Intel Arc graphics cards compete with the Nvidia GeForce and AMD Radeon models. The first generation of cards is scheduled for release early next year – plans include both versions for desktop computers, as well as gaming laptop systems.
During the announcement of the Alchemist models, the manufacturer also revealed the following generations of cards: Battlemage, Celestial and Druid. True, the release date details were not disclosed here, but some clues were given to us by the programmer responsible for the graphics drivers.
Intel will launch a new generation of graphics cards every year?
Bryce_GfxDriverGuru commented on a fan’s news about the default launch of the GeForce RTX 6090 SUPER in 2025. According to the developer, if everything goes as planned, then the Druid generation Intel Arc models should already be available by this time.
php message must be treated with a space. However, it could indicate the emergence of new generations of Intel Arc cards each year – Alchemist in 2022, Battlemage in 2023, Celestial in 2024, and Druid in 2025. The manufacturer will then impose a faster pace than the competition (new generations of Nvidia cards appear and AMD every two years).
Will this really happen? We will likely find out some time, when the manufacturer will officially comment on the date of the premiere of the next graphics cards.
