Magdalena Fresh (WTA 88) lost to Daria Saville in the decisive elimination round on Tuesday. The Polish woman was lucky and entered the main bracket of the Indian Wells event as the lucky loser. On Thursday, his opponent was the Mayor Sheriff (WTA 67). The Lots defeated the Egyptians 6: 2, 7: 5.

The start of the match did not bring big emotions. The players focused on their services, and after three quick games the French went 2: 1. From that moment on, the Polish athlete marked his advantage on the court. He kept the ball well on the court, was impressed by his footwork and easy playing ability, and he made good use of the geometry of the court. The Egyptian woman never got a chance to make up for that loss until the end. Her game was unstable and she had trouble controlling her shots. She was in a hurry and spoiled a lot.
