Müdes Eintracht Braunschweig guarantees one point for 1860 Munich | NDR.de – Sports

After the last three victories in a row, third-tier football club Eintracht Braunschweig ran out of momentum at “Löwenduell” with 1860 Munich. After all, Lower Saxony secured a 1-1 goal with a goal in stoppage time. VfL Osnabrück celebrated with a 3-0 away win over Türkgücü Munich.

by Matthias Heydrich

True to the mantra of “Never change a winning team”, Eintracht coach Michael Scheele sent the same starting line-up to the pitch as in the recent 3-0 win at Werl, however, it was tough against the attractive Munich players. After an early chance from Maurice Molthope (fifth), there was little attack from Braunschweig. 1860 had more game, but only got really dangerous once in the first 45 minutes. Ex-Eintracht player Marcel Baar hit the ball after a high pass with a hit hit the crossbar from the BTSV goal (30) – the luck of the domestic “lions”, goalkeeper Jasmine Fisic would have been powerless.

Eintracht goalkeeper Vegzic strong support

The home team’s goalkeeper also appeared in the spotlight shortly after the end of the first half. When Sascha Mölders appeared liberal in front of Vejic, the Eintracht keeper remained calm, made himself big and cleaned up the difficult situation (51).

Important: Lower Saxony’s greatest goal-scoring opportunity to date resulted from action by the guests. Niklas Lang forced his goalkeeper Marco Heller to do a great job with a failed header (72). Heller was also around when Enrique Pena Zoner came up with a good opportunity shortly afterwards (75).

In the final stage it got frantic. First of all, 1860 striker Sasha Mulders made the score 1-0 for Munich (89th place) with a hand penalty. But Brian Berndt scored the equalizer for Braunschweiger in the second minute of stoppage time.

VfL Osnabruck celebrates away win in Munich

VfL added Osnabrück after winning 2-1 at home against Dortmund II. Lower Saxony celebrated its 3-0 (2-0) victory over Torquacho Munich with goals by Sebastian Klaas (25), Mark Haider (33) and Florian Kleinhansel (50).
