Oppo Find X5 Pro appears in more hands-on images

The upcoming Oppo Find X5 Pro now appears with more images. These show the back of the flagship and confirm that Oppo will also maintain a partnership with Hasselblad in the future. This is where the integration with OnePlus affects the manufacturer’s camera.

After ColorOS was already forced on OnePlus and gained little approval from users, Oppo has now simply acquired the Hasselblad brand of the group’s brother. Thus finally removing any unique selling proposition from OnePlus. It probably won’t be long before the brand disappears or appears as a model at Oppo.

But back to the Oppo Find X5 Pro. This again has a strange camber cam and a very shiny back. It actually looks quite slippery in pictures, so the cover will probably just help keep the device from slipping on slightly sloping surfaces.

The triple camera setup can be seen on the back, with the main camera featuring a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS. A 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor with RGBW matrix should be used as an ultra-wide angle, as well as a telephoto camera with a 13-megapixel Samsung S5K3M5 sensor. There is no information on the zoom level, but the 5x zoom is expected to be mixed.

Inside, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and MariSilicon X should act as the NPU, there’s up to 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and ColorOS 12.1. The release is expected at the end of February.
