PlayStation 5 updates Share Factory Studio with Bits, its own feature for editing and sharing gameplay clips and screenshots

PlayStation has launched a new feature in PlayStation 5’s Share Factory Studio, Bits, which allows you to customize gameplay clips and screenshots to create a meme or short video with different styles and tools available.

Share Factory Studio is a free and exclusive PS5 solution that supports 4K and HDR and allows the user to create and edit videos and screenshots on the console. To do this, it offers the ability to add stickers, text, sound effects, filters and camera effects, among other features shown in the PS Store.

This section has been updated with the addition of Bits, which PlayStation showed on its blog. The new feature allows you to customize and share clips and game clips with friends on PS5, suitable for both beginners and professionals thanks to the Visual FX (Visual Effects) section.

With Bits, users can create clips between three seconds and one minute in length. In addition, this new functionality also includes animated ‘sticker’ packs that include customizable audio and text options.

Bits also has a quick edit mode, as well as several styles for the user to choose from which will be updated periodically through the Bits Live Service depending on the day of the week, holidays, special occasions, seasons, and trends.

The new feature also allows you to write doodles through the DualSense wireless controller, and add filters to audio recordings.

The user can choose between sharing his creation from the console itself or through the game capture function within the PlayStation mobile app, the PS app.
