Smartclip and Axel Springer All Media from RTL Germany want to get advertising money from small and medium-sized businesses and convince them with digital TV advertising. The service providers enter into a collaboration for this purpose, which was presented at the Medientage Munich event “Connect! The future of television was shown.

The result of this collaboration: a self-booking platform designed specifically for small and medium businesses, developed by Axel Springer AdUp Technology on behalf of Smartclip. Its purpose is to give companies easy access to the Smartclip ATV portfolio, which includes broadcasting stations such as RTL, Vox and Sport1. For medium-sized businesses in particular, a classic TV reservation that includes a venue is often very expensive.

The tool allows customers to use digital control of TV advertising as part of their marketing mix. Advertisers can use the platform to set campaign goals, durations, budgets, target groups, and build into an offer in just a few steps, so promise. In this way, brands can open up new target groups. The offer will also be expanded to include online video formats and other channels in the coming months.

“This makes TV advertising, along with big-brand products, financially attractive to medium-sized companies that are thinking more and more digitally, and become a real alternative to advertising measures. Users know well-known brands from their everyday environment. This makes the application very effective, as it increases Significantly out of realization. The lack of momentum to date has been a cost-effective way of holding safe stock for the brand.”
