However, Donald Trump has not told anyone else, including the person in question, who he intends to choose as his running mate.

But the former president says the person who will be his running mate will attend Trump's televised debate against Joe Biden next Thursday in Atlanta.

according to NBC News Sources, Trump chose one of three candidates he focused on — all of whom had criticized him on previous occasions.

“I never liked Trump.”

Among other things, it will interest Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who challenged Trump to become the Republican nominee in 2016.

Rubio then called Trump a “fraud maker.” He himself was called “Little Marco” by Trump.

Another hot name was reportedly Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, who previously called himself “Never Trump” and said:

-I never liked Trump.

Finally, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is said to be the third person Trump is focusing on in his running mate search. When businessman Burgum was asked if he was considering doing business with Trump, Burgum replied, “I don’t think so,” and explained:

-I think it's important to be judged on how you choose your company.

However, all three are now loyal allies of Trump.

Sources say that the Trump campaign wanted a representative who would not “overshadow” the former president, but who could be “the future” for Republicans.
