At the end of August last year, former US President Donald Trump surrendered to justice in Georgia and was registered as prisoner P01135809.

In connection with his brief 20-minute visit to the Fulton County Jail, his photo was also taken.

Since then, the image has been widely used by the Trump campaign, which among other things began selling T-shirts, mugs and other items with the image on them. A cash cow, according to the Trump Organization itself.

He made fun of the play

Recently, the Trump Organization sent an email asking for more money for the campaign. In this regard, Trump claimed that he was “tortured” when his photo was taken last year.

“I want you to remember what they did to me. They tortured me in the Fulton County Jail and took my picture. Trump wrote in the email, in which he also promoted coffee mugs with the image.

“Guess what I did? I printed it on a mug for the whole world to see!” The former president wrote.

Donald Trump is now being ridiculed for his claim, reports The Guardian, which points to several posts on Platform X.
