The collection of games available for free on the Epic Games Store is really big. This time it was products you may not have heard of, and perhaps worth a change.
Free Download Void Bastards and Yooka-Laylee
Not so long ago, the store in question released A Plague Tale: Innocence, which did not need to be introduced to anyone. Once again (because it is very common in recent weeks) it was decided to give the players two matches. I’m talking about Void Bastards and Yooka-Laylee.
The offer, as always with this action on the Epic Games Store, is valid until 17:00 Standard Daylight Time (UTC+2) on Thursday. You don’t need to meet additional criteria, all you have to do is have an account on the Epic Games Store and assign one or both games to it.
Sci-fi shooter and something for the little ones
Void Bastards was created by Studio Blue Manchu. The creators present it very interestingly, because they are a strategic shooter. On closer examination, it turns out to be accurate, because we are not really limited to aiming and shooting here. Each mission must be properly planned, and the collected resources must be used, for example, to create temporary tools and weapons that will be useful in the next stages.
At the same time, it is necessary to talk about the atmosphere of science fiction and comics (in this regard, the most popular XIII comes to mind). Weird combination? It’s worth giving him a chance. The average rating from the ratings was 81%, and from the player reviews it was just under 75%.
While Void Bastards is recommended for 16-year-olds, younger players can also enjoy Yooka-Laylee. This is an open world platformer developed by Playtonic. You can play as two playable heroes, the title hero Yuka and Lily, who must be helped to bring down the villain.
In practice, this translates not only into exploring and collecting different types of items scattered on the maps, but also in solving Puzzles or tests and so-called cart stages. The game can be played alone, but also in co-op and multiplayer mode.
