Report: FIFA will soon be called EA Sports Football Club

It is said that changing the name of the FIFA Electronic Arts Series was a done deal.

At least that’s what journalist Jeff Grob claimed on his show Groupsnacks. According to his sources, EA is seeking a new name in the future.

“EA Sports Football Club, EA Sports FC, that’s the name of the game,” he says. The decision comes on the heels of disputes between EA and FIFA over the costly licensing. The FA has also shown itself to be open to new partnerships.
