Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka have faced many great matches in the past, including the Grand Slam finals. They face off in the third round of the ATP tournament in Rome on Thursday. This is their 26th match and the Swiss have won the US Open 2019 after their rival. And one of the two unilateral clashes in history because it ended with a 6: 2, 6: 2 victory for the tennis player from Belgrade.
Djokovic’s pros were not discussed from the beginning. The Serbs were physically superior above all else and won almost all the long rides. Wawrinka, who is recovering from a hamstring injury after a one-year hiatus, has won just one Spurs and four games.
The match lasted 74 minutes. This time, Djokovic hit one ace, was beaten once, used five of his seven break points, sent off 15 finishers and made 13 forced mistakes. Wawrinks, on the other hand, made two aces, 14 winning strokes and 23 own mistakes.

Jannick Sinner reiterated the reasons for the joy for local fans. The 20-year-old Italian made 13 aces, three breaks and 29 successful strokes, defeating Philip Krajinovic 6-2, 7: 6 (6). In the 1/4 final, Sinner, ranked 10th, will face Stephanos Tsitsipas in a “four” match.
Christian Karin was the quarter-finalist for second-seeded Alexander Sverre. After nearly three hours of play, the Chilean won 6: 3, 4: 6, 6: 4 with Marin Cilic, making the turning point in the decisive set.
