A party critical of Islam becomes the largest in the Netherlands – it wants to ban the Holy Quran

Less than three years after the last time, the Netherlands goes to the polls again. With 37 seats out of 150, the Freedom Party, which is critical of Islam, becomes the largest in the House of Representatives. The PVV gained 20 additional seats, thus becoming twice as large compared to last semester.

Geert Wilders has been out of politics for a long time, but has now become somewhat accepted following a statement by VVD leader Dylan Yeşilgoz that she might consider ruling with him – if she becomes prime minister.
