Today, Aktuell Hållbarhet released its annual list of 101 profiles that have contributed to promoting sustainability in Sweden. WWF Secretary General Gustav Lindh is one of the strongest figures in sustainability this year, coming in 11th place.
Among other things, Aktuel Halparhit highlights WWF's work to push political leaders to take a stand on the Nature Restoration Act, clearer climate targets in Sweden and the EU and criticism of the government's climate action plan.
– I am very happy and proud to be included in Aktuell Hållbarhet's list of the most powerful sustainability figures this year, something that would not have happened without my colleagues at WWF Sweden, says Gustav Lind in a comment.
Over the past year, together we have pushed for clearer climate and biodiversity ambitions in the corridors of power and fought hard for the Nature Restoration Act. We called on those in power in the business world to take policy forward, set ambitious targets for their sector and value chain, and work together to find new ways to bring nature into economic decision-making.
– Last but not least, we work every day to inspire people and increase their chances to act and make more informed choices with the help of campaigns, guides and tools, concludes Gustav Lind.
