There are matches that have been interrupted in places other than the Ligue 1… The crap of some fans arrived in Germany on Friday night during the match between Bochum and Borussia Mönchengladbach that opened on the 27th day of the Bundesliga. The referee stopped the match in the 71st minute, as Monchengladbach advanced 2-0 thanks to goals from Frenchman Alassane Bley and Embolo. Bochum fans threw beer glasses from the stands at Christian Gittlemann, one of the match officials.
The latter was hit in the back of the head which initially stopped the match for over twenty minutes, and the referees left the field immediately. Then the Bochum players tried to calm their fans. But after a period of hesitation, the announcer logically announced that the match had been stopped permanently and the referees did not want to resume it.
A few minutes later, the two clubs immediately condemned the incident via their social networks, and FC Bochum apologized to the target referee and stressed “to embarrass them with a very stupid gesture”. But he will not escape penalties.
