England: Man United vs Brentford without problems
Manchester United said goodbye to coach Ralf Rangnick in front of his fans. In their last match at Old Trafford, the Red Devils defeated Brentford 3-0. Bruno Fernandez (ninth place) and star Cristiano Ronaldo scored from a penalty kick (61) and Raphael Varane (72) for Manchester. After a generally rotten season, interim coach Rangnick became Austria’s national coach. Manchester moved up in sixth place to 5 points behind Arsenal (fourth), but they no longer had a realistic chance of qualifying for the Champions League – the London side played two fewer games.
Italy: Atalanta does not move
Atalanta Bergamo made their way to a 1-1 draw with Salernitana at the end of the 35th round of the Italian Serie A. Southern Italy, who were in danger of relegation, advanced thanks to Ederson (27), and Mario Pasalic managed to equalize for Bergamo in the 88th minute. The team, in which Swiss Remo Froller played and was booked in the 90th minute, won only one of their last 8 matches. In all competitions, it ranks seventh.
