An emergency occurred last Saturday on board an ITA Airways flight.

Passengers had just boarded the plane at Italy's Reggio Calabria airport when flight attendant Gabriella Carrillo, 57, suddenly collapsed.

Medical personnel were quickly called to the plane, but her life could not be saved.

I was on my way home.

According to the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera Should Carrillo have sensed that something was really wrong the day before he stepped on her passport?

But despite feeling faint at the gate, she chose to board the flight on Saturday, she wrote. The sun.

But on board the plane the situation quickly deteriorated, Corriere della Sera wrote.

Gabriela Carrillo leaves behind three children and a husband. She is now mourned by family and friends.

“Goodbye sister,” the brother writes in a longer social media post.

Even the mayor of Sabaudia, where Gabriela Carrillo lived, expressed his sadness.

“I knew Gabriella,” says Alberto Mosca. “She was a radiant, smiling and always friendly woman.”

On behalf of the municipality and the entire community, I would like to express our deepest sympathy to her husband and three beloved children.
