Google has a slew of mobile apps in its portfolio with note Go – special, watered-down versions of popular items that have been adapted to work with older Android Go devices or devices. One of them, however, is very popular.
The company from Mountain View just announced that Gmail Go Exceeded the 500 million download limit from the Google Play Store. This means that it is the most common item with a ‘Go’ note in the Google view.
This email client owes its huge popularity to its small size – It weighs less than 10 megabytes, which is an undoubted advantage in the context of older devices with a small amount of built-in memory.
However, the app has paid for it with an outdated interface using the original version of the so-called Material Design. In addition, we can not count on the integration with Google Workspace, as well as the presence of a dark graphic theme. It is also worth noting that we will only run the application on smartphones with a maximum of 2 GB of RAM.
