Google Meet has added new effects for a dual AR mask style video filter for personal calls on iOS and Android

New Delhi, Technical Office. Google Meet video calling app recently updated new video filters and effects on its platform to make personal calls fun for iOS and Android users. Including AR skins, dual mode filters, and unique effects. Now you can add entertainment to your personal calls with new effects with Google Meet.

Google has tweeted that users can tap the blinking icon at the bottom right of the video stream during a call to access new AR animated color filters and face effects. According to the report, these new changes are already active even if you start the meeting through Gmail instead of Meet.

Most of the options are only available for personal Gmail accounts, while Workspace users have limited options like blur and default background options to help make professional calls.

Filters are now available for Google’s consumer-focused video chat Duo service. According to 9to5Google, the company is considering replacing Duo with Meet. The tech giant also made other changes to Google Meet in June.
