On the last day, Victoria visited the Swedish Church in London. Then it suddenly became personal.

Crown Princess Victoria’s years abroad – she lived here
A large part of the Crown Prince’s job involves travel, and she often leaves The Hague for official visits and meetings. This year alone he’s had time to visit parts of the world such as warm New Zealand, slightly cooler Svalbard, and the enchanting coronation of Great Britain.
Additionally, she lived abroad while studying as a young woman. Between 1996-1997 she lived in France to study French (a wide range of languages is important for the future queen) and in the same year she actually moved to the United States to study at the prestigious Yale University.
Victoria has also implemented training courses and study programs in several different places in the world, such as Uganda, Ethiopia, Paris and Berlin.
So, world traveler. But it’s not just about packing your bags and leaving life back home in Sweden.
Personal words of Crown Princess Victoria about the loss
Victoria mentioned this during her speech to all Swedes residing in London, during her visit to the church last Friday.
– I personally had the opportunity to live abroad and I still carry with me wonderful memories to this day, she said and continued to talk about how she feels it is somewhat difficult to live away from her family:
-At the same time, there was always a strong longing for Sweden and loved ones for me.
Yes, Victoria, if anyone knows it can be hard sometimes. This summer, she put it into words when she opened the Parliament of Swedes Abroad, speaking to like-minded people:
– Staying abroad enriches us, giving us a broader perspective and increased understanding of others. Of course there are challenges, but I am convinced that the vast majority find it worth it.
