In the second round of the US Open, Iga Świątek faced a tough match with Fiona Ferro. The Polish woman rose from position 3:6, 0:2 and won 3:6, 7:6 (3), 6:0. This is her third appearance at the US Open and she achieved the best result last season. In the second set, I relaxed a bit and changed my tactics. It’s hard for me when I’m trying to pass the ball to the other side because I want to do swaps and attack. I was nervous this time, so it was my only chance to score points – she said.
