Xiaomi today launched three new phones in China – the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro and the Pro + version. The two Pros are nearly identical: the Plus version charges up to 120W, and the Pro has a larger battery.
Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro +
Both share a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The hole for the selfie camera is only 2.96 mm. Inside there is a Dimensity 920 chipset with 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB or 8/256 GB memory. Obviously, the standout feature here is the 120W fast charging of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+, which completely fills the 4,500mAh battery in around 15 minutes. The Redmi Note 11 Pro “only” charges 67 watts, which was intended for a flagship like the Mi 11 Ultra last year. At 5160 mAh, the battery is 10% larger.
In fact, the huge camera island on the back only takes three cameras: a 108MP main camera with Samsung’s HM2 sensor, which was already used in its predecessor Redmi Note 10 Pro, an 8MP wide-angle camera with a 120-degree viewing angle and a Telemacro 2 camera megapixels. The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
The phone has a 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers tuned by JBL.
My Redmi Note 11 Pro has a dual SIM slot, but no microSD slot. It uses Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 as the operating system.
Redmi Note 11
The regular Note 11 works with Dimensity 810 chipset and 4/128 GB, 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB or 8/256 GB memory. A 6.6-inch LCD screen with Full HD + resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate is front-mounted. The back has the same large camera module, but with only two cameras: a 50MP main camera accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide. Matching 16MP selfie camera.
Note 11 is only charged at 33 watts. According to Redmi, the 5000 mAh battery goes from 0 to 100% in 62 minutes. A fingerprint sensor is built into the side of the power button. A 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and an IR sensor are also available as well as Android 11 with MIUI 12.5. And like the pros, there is no microSD slot.
The Redmi Note 11 is available in Gradient Black and Mint Blue and starts at CNY 1,199 (€161). The first flash sale will take place on Monday, November 1st. Redmi Note 11 Pro will be launched on the 5th of November in black, aurora gradient, violet and forest green. Prices start at CNY 1,699 (228 EUR). On the same day, the Redmi Note 11 Pro + starts at CNY 1,999 (€268).
Instead of a gradient color variant, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will have a Yibo design – green with stripes and a 3D effect on the Redmi logo on the glass back. It costs 2,699 CNY (361 euros) and will be released on November 11, also known as China’s “Singles’ Day” holiday.
