Are you waiting for DDR5 main memory modules? G. Skill will have some interesting suggestions
Interestingly, at least for now, MSI’s flagship design for the 12th generation Intel Alder Lake processors will be Just MEG Ace, not MEG Godlike, which may debut later.
According to the announcement, it will be the MEG Unify-based series based on new subdued black aesthetics. At the bottom of the hierarchy, the MPG series will include Carbon Wifi, Edge Wifi, and a new model called Force Wifi. Finally, we find the base MAG series, including the Tomahawk and Torpedo models, as well as the PRO series boards.
MSI, like other manufacturers, in the best models of the MEG series will use support for DDR5 memory modules. In the case of the MPG series, it will be the same except for the Edge Wifi model, which is probably the only one that supports DDR4 modules. In contrast, lower models of the MAG or PRO series will be available in versions that support the DDR4 or DDR5 standard.
