PKO Bank Polski clients are once again in the crosshairs of criminals – the Polish Financial Supervisory Authority (CSIRT) has been alerted, calling for more caution.
As the largest bank in Poland, PKO BP naturally enjoys a lot of interest from fraudsters who, even if they strike blindly, increase their chances of shooting the victim. It is no different this time.
As the Polish Financial Supervisory Authority (CSIRT) warns, there is a submission campaign on the web fake email, and encouraging activation of the alleged security service at PKO BP. Of course, the bank has nothing to do with this procedure, it is only intended to convince the victim to provide login details to the transaction site.
⛔ We warn you of a dangerous campaign targeting customers Tweet embed. In fake emails, scammers encourage you to activate the security service. Passwords entered on the site are automatically sent to scammers.

So it is a template phishing attack. Let’s add, it’s very simple, because it runs for random addresses, not necessarily affiliated with PKO BP clients. However, as mentioned earlier, it is such a large institution that the chances of hitting it are high.
The editorial office traditionally reminds you to check the sender of the letter several times in the case of correspondence related to banking services. If in doubt, it is worth calling the hotline. It might be a moment of inattention Really expensive And in extreme cases it even leads to a complete loss of savings. Remember and warn others.
