DICE, the creators battlefield 2042, announces the cancellation of a technical test of the game on PlayStation 5 due to a “fatal error”.
Adam Freeman, Director of Communities, confirmed this with his account of Twitter.
Freeman points out in his letter the following:We’ve identified a critical flaw in our shipped build on PlayStation 5. We’ve informed people that there will be no testing this weekend.He also expressed his thanks for the enthusiasm of PS5 fans, and asked for attention to future news.
On the other hand, the community manager revealed that on PC he made his debut in his first 48 hours. He assures that they receive so many positive comments that they will take them into consideration to assess potential implementation in the final product.

DICE sent invitations to Xbox users
Although there were issues with the PS5 version, fortunately the same did not happen with Xbox users.
DICE has already sent out invitations to select players. These tests are closed, and the developer himself asks not to share any videos or photos.
Furthermore, Adam Freeman warns that if they find out that you’re breaking the rules, you will lose access to future Electronic Arts experiences, as well as not be able to play Battlefield 2042 when it’s officially released.
