Sergio Aguero has his own monument. Manchester City has officially revealed the statue that will appear in front of the Etihad to mark the memorable match against Queens Park Rangers.
Sergio Aguero is one of Manchester City’s greatest legends. The dominance of the “natives” began in England during the Argentine era.
The striker greatly helped his team win five championships, but one of them had a special character. In the 2011/12 season, Manchester City won their first title as a result of one of the most exciting races in history.
On May 13, 2012, Roberto Mancini’s players defeated QPR 3: 2. The goal important in the victory – and as it quickly turned out – was scored by Sergio Aguero. This blow fell into the annals of world football and the Argentine immediately became a legend of the club.
Now this case is confirmed by a unique monument. On the occasion of this unforgettable match, Manchester City officially presented the statue of the footballer who will stand in front of Al-Ittihad.
Sergio Aguero left The Citizens in 2021. The Argentine scored 260 goals in 390 matches for the English club. He is currently in the process of retiring from football due to ongoing injuries.
