Stefanos Tsitsipas was in trouble. Three seeds fell off

Fourth-seeded Stefanos Chitsibas needed five sets to win his first leg at Roland Cross 2022. Tommy Paul, Alex de Minor and Pablo Carreno have already been ruled out of the tournament.

On Tuesday, among other things, the rain-blocked matches ended on Monday evening. In one of them, Richard Casket won three sets with Lloyd Harris. One of the favorites of the Paris audience confirmed the good form he showed in the previous match in Geneva. In turn, the South African representative lost the fifth game in a row.

Chitsibas got into trouble with his game. In the first and second sets the Greek player turned out to be worse than Lorenzo Musetti. The Italian was one step away from overcoming his favorite advantages and causing surprises. Chitsipas was not going to leave it at that, he tried gradually. The fifth set ended just before 1am.

Three ranked tennis players bid farewell to the singles competition. Tommy Paul (30) started the game well against Christian Karin, but the first win turned out to be the last, most positive in Paris. Chile found a way to beat the Americans and won the other three sets. Die-Break, Alex de Minor (19) decided to say goodbye to Roland Karros. The winner was Hugo Gaston from France. In today’s last match, Pablo Carreno (16) lost to Gilles Simon by 5 sets.
