The 94th Academy Awards will be in memory of Will Smith. During this year’s gala, an unusual situation occurred – the actor exploded on stage and hit a blow to Chris Rock, who made fun of Smith’s wife. However, not long after, the actor reappeared on stage – this time winning an Oscar for Best Leading Role.

The Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in a Leading Role in “King Richard: The Conquering Family” is Smith’s third career. The actor previously competed for the title role in his autobiographical drama “Ali” (2001), and competed for the role of single father in “On the Pursuit of Happiness” (2006). However, in the first case, he lost to award-winning Dansal Washington for “Test Day”, and in the second – to “The Last King of Scotland” Forrest Whittaker.
