Tokyo and demons in gray in November!
- Shin Megami Tensei 5 is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 12
- E3 has provided some glimpses of the upcoming game
Shin Megami Tensei 5 is coming to the Nintendo Switch on November 12. The release date was revealed tonight in the latest Nintendo Direct.
The game was announced a few years ago and was actually in development in 2018, and is now a role-playing game with a strong story focus, but is actually coming to Nintendo’s console in the fall. A small impression of the game can also be seen on Direct.
This dark and futuristic role-playing game from developer studio Atlus comes with an anime twist and is set in modern Tokyo with fantasy elements. It is supposed to bring back some of the well-known game mechanics and, in terms of gameplay, presents an almost mix between the third and the fourth. For example, it should be possible to breed demons and merge them again.
In terms of story, JRPG Shin Megami Tensei is the origin of the Pesona series, and it is a spin-off.
It wasn’t until spring this year when Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne got a brand new HD reboot for the Nintendo Switch, so there’s a lot going on inside the well-thought-out franchise.
