Vicarious Visions has worked closely with Activision Blizzard for years, so the information officially absorbed into the studio shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Especially when they delivered Diablo 2 Resurrected, which was received warmly – because the server problems were on Blizzard’s side, not Vicarious Visions. But what is this studio famous for?
We've officially merged with Blizzard Entertainment. Our development team will remain in Albany, NY and fully dedicated to Blizzard games. We invite you to follow us @Blizzard_Ent

It’s a remaster, but it’s really successful. Not only do they have Diablo 2 Resurrected mentioned, but also Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 or Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. They’ve also helped with other games in the past, such as Destiny 2 and Guitar Hero. They have a lot of achievements, but from now on they will not work independently or create their own games under their own banner. They have become part of Blizzard and will now officially work with them.
This change is basically just a formality. Early in 2021, Activision hired all of Vicarious Visions to focus 100% of its production capacity on work at Blizzard. It remains to hope that the team will find itself in these conditions and thanks to them the company will provide us with games worthy of attention. Who knows, maybe they’ll make transformers from Blizzard’s first productions? everything is possible!
