The results of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers have been astounding for some countries.
NSOn Tuesday evening, several European performances were shown as part of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
In Group B, Sweden beat Spain 2-1 to take first place in the standings. Sweden managed to win the match after Carlos Soler’s opener (0-1, 5). Alexander Isak equalized directly for Sweden (6) before giving Victor Cleason a decisive advantage for the visitors in the second half (57). The two teams with 9 and 7 points neck and neck.
Italy, who finished first in Group C, did not manage to get rid of Bulgaria (1-1). Chiesa opened the scoring for the European champions (16th place), but Ilyev equalized before the end of the first half (39th place) for the Bulgarians, who collected only one point in three matches. Mannschaft managed to count on the goals of Timo Werner (41) and Leroy Sane (77) to ensure the small group won from the group that did not get a single point in 4 matches. Germany, with 9 points, comes behind Armenia, first in the standings with 10 points, after its defeat at home to North Macedonia last March.
