Former FIFA vice president Vyacheslav Koloskov also shared the opinion on Saturday. In his opinion, football teams have nothing to do with state politics.

We already had a precedent in 2014, when US senators asked FIFA and UEFA to exclude the Russian Football Association from international organizations. Nothing like this happened, because according to the statute, the politician has nothing to do with sports. ‘It’s the same here,’ said Koloskov.
