Swede has been included in the American magazine Time, which publishes its prestigious list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2024.

It's about Jesper Brodin, director of IKEA's Inka Holding Group.

Brodin earned an honorable mention on the list for his work on sustainable development within IKEA, and was honored for “showing the way” to combine sustainable development with profitability, as fellow executive Arianna Huffington wrote in justification.

Brodin, 55, who was, among other things, an assistant to Ingvar Kamprad and held a number of other senior positions at IKEA, leads the Leiden-based company in the Netherlands.

Brodin is joined by a number of major international names. Additional space was given to Russian regime critic Julia Navalnaja, British-Albanian artist Dua Lipa, American football player Patrick Mahomes, far-right politician Giorgia Meloni from Italy, and the head of chip manufacturer Nvidia Jensen Huang. They are with 94 others.

The list has been published since 1999 and people are selected by the magazine's editors.
