The surprise was a success. Nintendo has already made Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 2.0 available via an update. However, it may have robbed some fans of sleep.
If Animal Crossing: New Horizons Version 2.0 is not installed automatically yet, you can start the download manually. To do this, use the plus button on the Nintendo Switch to go to Software Information and there to update the software. If you select “Online”, you turn on the download – provided that your console is connected to the Internet.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 2.0 is the ultimate update to the game. More will not follow. The upcoming DLC is also the first and only paid expansion planned. You can read about what to expect with the update and DLC in this post.
