ATTORNEY: FBI searches Biden’s home

“Today’s review is another step in a comprehensive and planned process that the Department of Justice continues to conduct and that we will continue to facilitate and fully support,” Attorney Bob Bauer announced in a statement.

The search is part of an investigation into possible mishandling of classified documents, and comes after a 13-hour search of Biden’s home in Wilmington that was conducted on January 20.

Secret documents were found at the Wilmington residence, and some handwritten notes were also confiscated. The documents were from Biden’s tenure as senator and vice president, while the handwritten notes were from his time as vice president.

The third site is under investigation

Biden’s home in Rehoboth Beach is the third location under investigation by authorities.

The President voluntarily granted the Department of Justice access to his various residences as part of their investigation.

Previously, Biden’s personal attorneys have searched his Rehoboth Beach residence, and stated that they did not find any official or classified documents there.
