Frankfurt The German Football League has published the schedule for the 2021/22 season. Who should play against the Champions When and when will the first derby between Borussia Dortmund and Werl Bochum take place since the 2009/10 season?
A real hit at the start of the new season! Champions Bayern Munich travel to the traditional match in Borussia Mönchengladbach on August 13th. The opening match traditionally takes place on the Friday evening of the first day of the match.
For Gladbach boss Adi Hütter and new Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann, it will be the first game in the league for the new clubs. The match starts at 8:30pm and will be broadcast live on Dazen and Saturday 1 It’s the 107th meeting of the two clubs since the founding of the Bundesliga – and one with so many great traditions and stories.
League Two will open the round with a cracker between Schalke 04 and Hamburger on July 23 (8:30 pm).

Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt will also meet on the first day of the match. VfL Bochum should go to VfL Wolfsburg for his first Bundesliga match since 2010, Cologne host Hertha BSC, Bielefeld host SC Freiburg. Bayer 04 Leverkusen could start the season at Alte Försterei in Union Berlin.
As Gladbachers battle it out with Bayern behind them after the first day of play, FC Köln don’t have to wait long for the big game against the champions. The Billy Goats should compete in Munich on the second day of the match. He will next face Bayer 04 and Borussia the Rennes derby. Rinderby between 1. FC Cologne and Mönchengladbach scheduled for Round 13 (November 26-28).
In the sixth round (from September 24-26), a duel will be held between the two teams. Dortmund will also meet Bayern at home in round 14 (December 3 to 5).
The first Revierderby in the Bundesliga between BVB and VfL Bochum since the 2009/10 season will be held on the weekend of December 10-12.

Bayern Munich seeks to achieve its tenth consecutive German title and 32nd place overall. The last match is scheduled for May 14, 2022. The 2022 DFB Cup Final will be held seven days later at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
After Round 17 (17-19 December), the Bundesliga will take a short winter break, and matches will resume from 7 January 2022. Only one English week is planned (Round 16, 14/15 December).
The second Bundesliga will start playing on July 23. Relegated Schalke 04 and Werder Bremen will start with Hamburg SV and Hannover 96 respectively.
The German League will not determine the date of the Bundesliga match until the week of July 5-9. Football Association announced. The days of the second division match must be determined for the next week.
The 2021 Super Cup will take place between German champions Bayern Munich and DFB Cup winners Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday 17 August at 8:30 pm in Dortmund. The game will be broadcast live on Saturday 1 and Sky.
