The organizers of the Rallye de la Côte Chalonnaise can smile. The lights have all been green for several weeks now, with the approval of state services. Everything has been done to ensure that this 30th edition is a symbol of success. You start on a Saturday for events but as of this Friday, on the Parc des Expositions de Chalon sur Saône, things are agitated.
As a reminder, the 30th Rallye Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise counts for the Coupe de France des Rallyes by a nice coefficient, but also other events add to the picture of those historic vehicles surrounding. This year’s event is the 9th Rallye VHC de Bourgogne and counts at the Coupe de France des Rallyes VHC. The 2021 edition is also the first VHRS de Bourgogne Rally Challenge Retro Cup.
The poll is taking place last weekend… and all is well, although the weather should complicate matters at least for Saturday. Good weather is scheduled to return on Sunday.
Friday is the time for technical and administrative checks of the competitors on the Parc des Expositions side, and given the health situation, a large number of events surrounding the rally have been cancelled.
