Dariusz Stalmach is the youngest footballer in the history of Górnik Zabrze

Górnik Zabrze – Dariusz Stalmach appeared from the first minute of the legia Warszawa match. Thanks to this, he became the youngest footballer in history to make his debut in the official tournament.

He was 15 years and 348 days old when Stolmac made his debut. In this way, he surpassed Joachim Hatka (15 years and 357 days) and Votsimier Lubansky (16 years and 52 days).

– The coach talked to me about how I would behave for the whole arena. I think that’s okay. Poland’s best fans pulled ahead. I was initially depressed when I heard I could come in but two minutes later it was over. Thanks to the coaches and players who supported. Physically, the teenager said I had no problem with the game.

– It has been a dream since childhood. I live 500 meters from the ground. I wanted to make my debut before my 16th birthday (December 8), but I didn’t think it would be possible, it would be a match against Legia. I will have dinner with my family, Monday – to school. Lukasz Podolski is a great footballer and a good man. He supported me all the time – he added, quoting PAP.

Górnik Zabrze defeated Legia Warsaw 3-2. The decisive goal was scored in the sixth minute of added time.
