After two lowland stages that delighted runners, the Tour of Spain found difficulty on Thursday 19 August with a hill finish at the 158km end of Stage Six, between Requena and Alto de. Mount Colera
The last two kilometers of the race with an average incline of 9.4% favorable to the kitchens or overall classification favorites before crossing the line on the hill of Cullera Castle. The Grand Tour leader for the first time in his career, Kenny Elsund (Trek-Segafredo) will have to defend his jersey against, among other things, Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma), just five seconds behind in the general classification.
