Ranked sixth, Iga Schweitek lost to Tunisian tennis player Anas Jaber 3:6, 3:6 in the second round of the WTA Tour tournament in Cincinnati.
The tournament in Cincinnati was the first Christmas since the Tokyo Olympics. Already in the first match, she was on the verge of defeat at home, but defended three break points for the break.
But the 20-year-old from Raszyn, was broken at the next opportunity. On the other hand, Jaber performed very well, and apart from the problems of the eighth match, she dominated the events on the field. Tunisia won the first set 6:3.
