Local authorities said that a Russian artillery attack in the Kherson region of southern Ukraine killed at least 21 people and wounded nearly 50 others.

The bombing of Kherson and the surrounding villages comes in contact with the outside world, waiting for Ukraine to launch a major spring offensive.

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the shells hit a railway station, a crossing, a house, a hardware store, a grocery store and a gas station.

So far 21 people have been killed! 48 injured!

“The world needs to see and know about this.”

“On the morning of May 3, Russian forces began intensive shelling of the city of Kherson and the residences of the region,” the local prosecutor’s office said earlier on Wednesday.

Local authorities said earlier on Wednesday that a 58-hour curfew will be imposed starting Friday in Kherson.

Russian forces captured Kherson in the early days of the large-scale Russian invasion and the city remained occupied by Russia until November 2022.
