Elden Ring’s assistant system won’t make the game easier • Eurogamer.pl

One of the new features of Elden Ring compared to previous From Software games is the option to summon soulmates who will help in the fight. However, the creators assure that the functionality will not lower the difficulty level.

Some fear that AI-driven allies could make manufacturing less of a challenge. During the final rendering of the title in development, it was confirmed that this would not be the case.

– We have tried to design the summoned ghosts in such a way that their location and the way they develop during the adventure does not make the game much easier when using the help – says a From Software representative. quoted by IGN.

Of course, the Elden Ring will also feature powerful bosses

The aforementioned AI-controlled comrades are the souls of fallen enemies. They can perform different functions – there will be a lot of allies who focus only on defense and focus on attack.

However, there are downsides to using assistants. In order to be effective, players will have to develop assistants by improving ghost stats at their expense.

Yesterday, a lot of details were revealed about Elden Ring – the game contains elements from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and offers a fast travel system from anywhere on the map. Production will release on January 21, 2022 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
