A man was arrested at 01.58 on the night of Friday 13 January in Finnmark in northern Norway. The Norwegian police stated that the arrest was carried out by a border patrol of the Norwegian Armed Forces and the police.
– We are now working to confirm the identity of the person and interrogate the man. The man is said to have visited a private home in the border area and asked for help. We have also reported to Russian border guards the discovery of traces that could indicate that someone crossed the border illegally.
