La Liga: Real Madrid are leaving their rivals

Karim Benzema confirmed Real Madrid’s victory.

Real Madrid strengthened their presence in the table by beating Athletic Bilbao 1-0 after a goal from Karim Benzema in the Spanish Premier League. It is already seven points ahead of current capital titles Atletico and Real Sociedad San Sebastian.

The match between Real Madrid and the Basque Country team did not take place in October as South American players competed in their respective countries in the World Cup qualifying round.
