Lidl sends workers to resorts

In the season June-September 2022, people working in Lidl stores will be able to change their workplace to places that are attractive to tourists. They will move to one of eight coastal locations: Świnoujście, Międzyzdroje, Kamień Pomorski, Kołobrzeg, Ustronie Morskie, Darłowo, Ustka and Władysławowo or to one of the three mountain resorts: Zakopane, Szklarska Poroba and Kodova.

  • The company offers accommodation and additional earnings, including a financial bonus of 600 PLN in total per month.
  • In 2020, 130 people benefited from the network’s proposal, more than 200 in 2021, and this year up to 300 people will have the opportunity to get a summer job.
  • Each employee will be able to decide how long they want to change their workplace: for the whole vacation, for a month, or for a week or two.

During the upcoming holidays, Lidl again invites employees from all over Poland to carry out seasonal work, thanks to which they can gain new experiences and improve their professional workshop in an attractive tourist location. In 2020, 130 people benefited from the network’s proposal, more than 200 in 2021, and this year up to 300 people will have the opportunity to get a summer job. Employees interested in changing their job in the summer will receive accommodation in an attractive tourist destination, travel reimbursement and a total bonus of PLN 600/month.

Lidl combines vacation and work in the store

In the season June – September 2022, employees of Lidl stores will be able to change their workplace to attractive tourist destinations. They will move to one of 8 coastal locations: Świnoujście, Międzyzdroje, Kamień Pomorski, Kołobrzeg, Ustronie Morskie, Darłowo, Ustka and Władysławowo or to one of the three mountain resorts: Zakopane, Szklarska Porebau and Kołów.

Recruitment is ongoing and Lidl encourages its employees to participate in the campaign. The first person to embark on the holiday adventure will begin on the 1st of June.

Lidl Polska has skillfully combined the need for safe and secure work with the realization of dreams of holiday travel and leisure. Each employee in the chain who decides to work on a seasonal basis will perform his duties under the same conditions as in the home store and will keep his position. He will also be able to specify how long he wants to change the place of work: for the whole vacation, for a month, or for a week or two.
