The meeting between Napoli and Milan made a huge difference in terms of the Serie A table standings, with both sides being placed behind the back of leaders Inter. The win gave either team the top spot in the league, and put both teams on points tied with the Nerazzurri.
One problem, yes, match-winner Napoli Milan has taken the lead in Serie A, but Inter still have one great game that could bring defenders back to the top of the table. Milan will not be able to make up for this hypothetical advantage in a live match, because both have played this season – one was a draw and the other was headed by the Rossoneri.
