The Minister of the Family, Marlina Malek, has warned against fraudsters who pretend to be ZUS employees and assist in completing the application for the Fourteenth Pension. The benefit is officially granted and you do not have to fill out any application.

The first payments of the Fourteenth Pension went into the pensioners’ accounts last Friday. The full amount, i.e. PLN 1,250.88 total, will be paid to persons not exceeding PLN 2.9 thousand. PLN total. The rest will receive a reduced fourteen in accordance with the “PLN for PLN” rule.

The Minister of Family, in an interview on TVP INFO, again warned against fraudsters who provide assistance in completing the application for the Fourteenth Pension. The benefit is officially granted and you do not have to fill out any application. “The Social Insurance Company (…) provides the fourteenth pension on the date of retirement” – the Minister stressed.

He reminded that about 8 million pensioners will benefit. “Pensions in full, that is, the total PLN 1,250.88, and mechanically, PLN 1 million to 1 million PLN, almost 1 million 200 thousand pensioners” – Maląg pointed out.

The head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy recalled that the government’s program “Polish Agreement” also took solutions that were favorable to seniors. As part of the proposed solutions, seniors receiving benefits up to PLN 2,500 will not be taxed on their pensions and retirees. “Most pensioners will benefit from this solution” – Maląg stressed. The changes will take effect on January 1, 2022.
