KH Energa Toruń hockey players will play in the quarter-finals of the Polish championship with the current Polish champion – JKH GKS Jastrzębie.
The quarter-finals were decided after the last round of the regular season on Sunday. Competitors were alternately chosen by teams from 1, 2 and 3 places, such as GKS Katowice, Re-Plast Unia Oświęcim and JKH GKS. These teams and Komark Krakow, fourth in the standings, will host Wednesday’s matches.
KH Energi Toruń’s competitor will be Jastrzębie once again. The first two matches will take place on February 23 and 24, and in Torun on February 27 and 28. The competition will last up to four wins. This stage continues until March 15 with a break between March 1 and 9 due to the participation of Komark Krakow in the final of the Confederations Cup in Denmark.
